All About Me
It all started when I was 14. My lacrosse coach asked if anyone wanted a summer job traveling the East Coast in a cargo van, selling clothing at events. My hand shot up immediately. I had no idea that decision would change everything.
While my friends spent those "best years" at the pool, I was loading merchandise, driving 10+ hours after getting my license, and selling tens of thousands of dollars' worth of product in a single weekend. I missed parties and hangouts, but I gained something my peers couldn't relate to: grit, hustle, and the knowledge that if I wanted that iced coffee every Friday or the cool steering wheel cover, I had to earn it myself.
I stayed for ten years. What kept me there wasn't just the paycheck; it was the creative side. I've always had a keen eye for fashion and design, so I loved giving input on textile patterns and seasonal colorways. Watching an idea transform from concept to tangible product? That's where I came alive.
During that time, I also pursued editorial and commercial modeling, landing six international magazine spreads, a few commercials, and walking NYFW twice. I even created my own runway show featuring emerging musicians, designing every piece by upcycling thrift store finds. It was raw, scrappy, and completely mine.
Now, I'm the Director of Marketing for one of the top 10 privately owned waste management companies in the country while finishing my bachelor's in graphic design and marketing. How did I get here? Because that 14-year-old girl who really needed iced coffee money learned early that nothing worth having comes easy.... and that creativity paired with work ethic is unstoppable.
