The Biome Keeper is a fictitious book series for children that reveal discoveries about nature and science while promoting an awareness of the environment. Each book within the series tells the story of a young girl who has been chosen to protect various ecosystems on Earth’s surface. These ecosystems include such biomes as rainforests, the desert, arctic, etc.
Secondary or additional objectives of the writing project include (1) educating children on various aspects of science and ecology, while (2) providing them with incentives to be curious about and responsible for the environment through the use of adventure and imaginative narratives.
